Patron Services Lead

POSITION DESCRIPTION
Under general supervision of the Patron Services Manager, the Patron Services Lead is responsible for all Patron Services Specialist tasks, plus administrative assistance and event management using AudienceView software. In addition to Specialists and Manager, the Lead will be scheduled across Breck Create venues including the Riverwalk Center, Breckenridge Backstage Theatre, and Old Masonic Hall.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Patron Services

  • Provide information and customer service to patrons, visiting artists, and instructors across Breck Create facilities
  • Sell tickets and class registrations over the phone and in person at the Riverwalk Center Ticket Office, Breckenridge Backstage Theatre, and Old Masonic Hall
  • Provide information to Arts District visitors on Breck Create and Partner programming, as well as wayfinding and answer general questions.
  • Process payments, refunds and exchanges in the form of cash/check/credit card using AudienceView software
  • Participate in all training and development of Patron Service staff
  • Use cash management principles and/or procedures including ability to sort, check, count and verify numbers, understand credit card operations and procedures
  • Act as a gallery attendant for rotating exhibitions in Old Masonic Hall. Provide information about the exhibition and artist to visitors.

LEAD-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES

  • Become proficient in all aspects Audience View, BCA’s ticketing software, to be able to build and/or edit events and packages in all configurations, create queries and reports, create auto marketing/communications messages and work with fundraising components.   
  • Assist Manager to build and maintain website content and registration for BCA programs and Partner Organizations. Act as back-up ticketing point-of-contact for Resident Partners, Facility Renters, and BCA Staff when Manager is out of office.
  • Support Patron Services Manager in the hiring process (recruitment, onboarding, and training) for part-time Patron Services Specialists in accordance with BCA hiring protocol and best practices.
  • Train part-time Patron Services Specialists on an ongoing basis (new hires and review sessions)
  • Manage weekly cash and check deposits. Maintain cash bags.
  • Maintain marketing materials on the Arts District Campus (brochures, catalogs, posters, door signs, etc.) and provide meaningful feedback to optimize the OMH storefront for marketing purposes. Distribute marketing materials to businesses and community partners in Summit County.

QUALIFICATIONS + SKILLS

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and content management systems a must along with ability to learn additional team-management software and online reservation systems 
  • Two (2) years of experience in a customer service position; or the equivalent in education, training and experience, which would provide the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities
  • Highly motivated team player, and able to manage multiple demands 
  • Ability to deal with a variety of personalities with tact and diplomacy
  • Creative problem-solver with positive attitude

  • Experience working with Audience View or other ticketing platform
